About Overseas Sector Defence Housing Authority, Islamabad

DHA Islamabad is delighted to announce the release of prime, building sized plots at our latest development site in overseas sector on the edge of the beautiful Islamabad highway. Overseas sector is located a 20 minutes drive from the zero point and is only 12 miles south of Islamabad. An excellent road network and major rail links are only a few minutes away and make it easy to travel to just about anywhere in Pakistan. The site's position is particularly good for those individuals wishing to travel to Northern areas, Peshawar, Azad Kashmir, Lahore and Chakwal as well as the region's major airport is situated at 25 minutes drive.

Overseas sector is located on the north western edge of the Phase-II (extn), close to Rawat the junction for an approach to Grand Trunk Road (GT Rd)and M-II (Motorway-II). This makes commuting to Islamabad, Lahore, Northern areas and Azad Kashmir exceedingly quick and convenient. The site is less than 3 miles from the proposed site of DHA Islamabad mainline railway station, where a regular and reliable commuter train service runs into major cities of Pakistan each day.

There are a number of excellent schools in the area as well as numerous local hospitals and a wide choice of modren and local shopping centers close by.

This first phase of the site is only part of a larger development we have planned over the next few years at this location. Each building sized plot is generous enough to build a prestigious, 4 - 5 bedroom detached home, complete with a spacious garden, which you can create to your own design.

Islamabad and Rawalpindi have a significant shortage of housing. "The Economic Survey of Pakistan" identifies the need for 500,000 new houses to be built each year until 2020. This plan identifies the need for a major chunk of housing units in Rawalpindi Islamabad area owing to its fastest growing population.
